These are 12 Mile circular tours of the scenic Leicestershire Lanes passing through the pretty villages of Upton, Shenton (Aqueduct), Sutton Cheney, Dadlington, Stoke Golding and Wykin with our Horse Drawn Wagonette/Omnibus.
There is an option of 2 Tours:
TOUR 1 includes a three course traditional midday lunch at UPTON BARN which is a traditional licensed Country Farmhouse Restaurant in Upton which only has 30 places making it an exclusive and unique experience. Everything is cooked to order so you can choose from the MENU on arrival. Admission to the Battlefield of Bosworth Heritage Centre is also included. Bookings for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays Only.
TOUR 2 includes a three course traditional midday lunch at THE ROYAL ARMS HOTEL which is a 4 Star traditional licensed Country Restaurant in Sutton Cheney. Everything is cooked to order from the MENU on arrival. It is also said that King Richard III himself has even stayed here giving it a direct link with the Battlefield of Bosworth Heritage Centre where admission is also included. Bookings for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays Only.
Each of these tours are an unhurried way of seeing some of the finest and historic countryside in England as we do pass places of interest such as King Richards Field and pass near to Shenton Railway station which has a regular steam engine programme. There are no set times for us to arrive at these places as the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.
The wagonette has a canopy with PVC windows and is drawn by our Unicorn Team of 3
Shires. We leave our yard at 10am and we arrive back between 4pm and 6pm. It will
seat parties of four to twelve people which makes it an ideal size for family & friends
