Wykin Shires was founded in 1915 by my Grandad, Arthur GeorgeTomlin and then continued from 1968 by myself, Ann Tomlin. Our SPECIALITY is horse drawn Carriage hire for Weddings paying particular attention to detail by decorating the Horse(s) & Carriage with white ribbons and FRESH RED ROSES or a second colour from the range we have available. We also make the promise that our turnout is exclusive to you as we only book one Wedding per day. Therefore nearer the time this gives you the opportunity of booking a second vehicle.
We do visit you up to two weeks before your Special Day so that routes and arrangements can be finalised. This gives you peace of mind that we know what is required on the day. The distance from the House to the Church and then onto the Reception is included in the price up to a maximum of 18 Kilometres (12 Miles) for the day.

If you would like to view the Carriage and Horses personally please CONTACT US to make sure the date you require is available so that an appointment can be made that is mutually agreeable. There is no obligation to book with us and we will hold the date you require for seven days after the viewing. We are currently taking bookings for 2009, 2010 & 2011.
